How will my personal information be used?
- Your personal information will only be used to process and deliver your gift. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only share your information with trusted third parties required specifically for the purpose of processing, fulfillment, or shipping of your gift. By placing an order through this website, you agree for your information to be used for these purposes.

I’m a Microsoft employee, do I have to provide my personal address to receive my gift?
- No, Employees are not required to provide a personal shipping address to receive their gift. Employees may choose to have their merchandise gifts shipped directly to their local Microsoft office for pickup.
Are there any costs associated with claiming my gift?
- All gifts, including fulfillment and shipping costs, are free of charge as a reward for your participation in the challenge or game.
- U.S. based employees: If the retail value of the gift exceeds $75, or if it is cash or cash equivalents, we must notify the Microsoft payroll and tax department. The employee will be responsible for any applicable local, state, and federal taxes. For more details, go here: Employee Gifting / Taxes (sharepoint.com).
- Employees outside of the U.S.: if an employee is located outside of the United States, they may also be required to pay local import taxes, duty, or VAT for their order to be delivered and acknowledge they will pay for these costs, and these costs are not reimbursable.
Is there a deadline to claim my gift?
- Yes, contest winners must claim their gift within 30 days of notification. After this period the gift offer will expire.
Can I exchange my gift for something else?
- All gifts have been predetermined according to our challenge guidelines and cannot be exchanged or returned.
What does "Configure Bundle" mean?
- If your prize includes clothing apparel the “Configure Bundle” button will allow you to select your size. Just click the button to see what sizes are available and pick the one you want for your order. If there’s no button, no worries—size selection isn’t needed.
Can I nominate someone else to receive my gift?
- Gifts are intended for the challenge participants only and cannot be transferred to others. Please ensure you provide your own details when claiming your gift.
Can I change my delivery address after placing the order?
- If you need to change your delivery address, please contact our support team using the “Contact” link in the bottom footer section of this website as soon as possible. Changes can only be made if the order has not yet been shipped.
Will I receive confirmation of my order and shipping/tracking information?
- Yes, after placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email with order details and a shipping tracking number once the order is shipped.
How long will it take to receive my order?
- Delivery times vary by location. Typically, orders are delivered within 1-3 weeks from the order date.
What should I do if I haven’t received my gift within the expected delivery time?
Can I order multiple gifts if I participate in multiple challenges/games?
- Yes, if you have won multiple challenges / games, you are eligible to claim a gift for each win. Please ensure you follow the instructions for each claim separately.

Is there a deadline to place an order an MCAPS Copilot Adoption Kit?
- Yes, to ensure we are optimizing the distribution of all our MCAPS Copilot items, we ask that you please complete your order within 45 days. After this time, we will reclaim any available items back into our inventory so we can redistribute to other regions / Adoption Leads or use them for future games and challenges.
- If for some reason you are unable to complete your order within 45 days, please contact our support team at mcapscopilotadoption@microsoft.com. They will be happy to assist you.
May I exchange, swap items, or request specific sizes of clothing in my Ultimate Copilot Adoption Kit?
- All Ultimate Copilot Adoption Kits have been curated and prebuilt so we can quickly and efficiently distribute them to each Adoption Lead. We apologize, but we are not able to customize the kit.
Can I order multiple MCAPS Copilot Adoption Kits?
- Yes, you can order “up to” the amount that is available in the “Quantity” selector when viewing the Ultimate Copilot Adoption Kit. Remember that each all-in-one bulk kit is bursting with over 100 items to help you create a buzz and ignite excitement. Once you have selected the quantity, click on the “Add to Cart” button where you will next provide the address of a local Microsoft Office for shipping.
Are there any costs associated placing an order to use for local events/challenges/games?
- All MCAPS Copilot items, including any fulfillment or shipping costs, are provided free of charge to help Adoption Leads drive participation and excitement for local contests and events. However, Adoption Leads outside of the United States may be required to pay local import taxes, duty, or VAT for their order to be delivered, and their local budget will need to pay for these costs.
Do I need to report the value of gifts given away as prizes to Microsoft payroll and tax department?
- Yes, as an Adoption Lead, if you run a local contest or game where employees compete and then are awarded a specific gift, you may be required to notify your local Microsoft payroll and tax department if the value of the gift exceeds a certain value based on your local policies and laws. The employees will then pay any required local, state, or country taxes, typically as a payroll tax deduction.

- Outside of the United States: please reach out to your local Payroll / Finance partner to understand what is required for your specific location, as the process, value and fees vary.
Is it OK for me to ship gifts to Microsoft employees in my region/country?
- Yes, as long as you follow the Microsoft Privacy guidelines related to gifts and the use of Employee Mailing Addresses. Also, any shipping costs you incur for local shipping will need to be paid with your local budget.
- Reminder: Employees are not required to use their personal shipping address to receive a gift. They must be given the option of choosing whether to provide their personal address information. Alternatively, they can have their merchandise gifts shipped directly to their local Microsoft office for pickup.

- Yes, once your order is successfully placed, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order, and then a shipping tracking number once the order is on its way.
